Things to do in Sardara
Chiesa parrocchiale della Beata Vergine Assunta

Situated at the top of a flight of steps, it is flanked on the right by a square-barrel bell tower, while the facade with an inflected crowning profile is rather simple, adorned with a small rose window above the portal and a niche with a statue. The building is covered with a pointed barrel vault divided by transverse arches. The construction dates back to the early years of the 17th century.
The Church of the Assumption houses a collection of statues, among which the 17th-century statue of Saint Bartholomew stands out, located in the chapel of the Madonna d’Itria. The church also treasures a precious pipe organ dating back to 1758.
